Are you a Nurse looking for a new challenge or are you interested in a career in Sexual Health? We have vacancies for trainee nurses with a real desire to deliver excellent sexual health care. This is a Band 5 training post for those with a keen interest in developing within the specialty of Sexual Health. We require candidates who will contribute to the overall improvement of the health and wellbeing of our clients by delivering care through a client centered approach and be passionate about improving the quality of care for clients. You will be integral to the development of Locala’s Sexual Health Service as we (move towards) progress the integration of Sexual Health Services across our commissioned localities. The post holder will work in collaboration with the Nurse Team Leaders and the target groups to further develop, implement, monitor and evaluate a high quality, evidenced based, young person friendly, needs led clinic based and outreach locations in our Sexual Health Service. You will be innovative and ambitious and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to work efficiently and productively to make a positive impact on client outcomes. We are a democratic, friendly and progressive team working together to provide a high quality service and achieving quality standards. The Sexual Health Service uses SystmOne clinical system and the latest electronic reporting systems. We are a trail blazer for the utilisation of digital technology in health care. The successful candidate would be on a pathway to achieving a Band 6 role once all the relevant contraception/GUM training has been achieved.
