Job description
Role Summary

A Vacancy at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessment of patients presenting urgently and develop working diagnosis and treatment plans whilst working without direct supervision.
  • Deliver assessment and treatment of patients in their own homes, within 2 hours, as part of the IUCRS Urgent Community Response Team (UCR) travelling throughout Northeast Essex.
  • Collaborate within a multi‑disciplinary team based in Kennedy House, Clacton‑On‑Sea, and other bases in Colchester to provide high quality care 08:00 – 20:00, 7 days a week within the Northeast Essex community.
  • Develop and advance the role of advanced practitioner, integrating policy, education, practice development and research relevant to patients, staff and students.
  • Support protection of patient data within the partnership with Epic electronic patient record system.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant qualification in Advanced Nurse Practice and independent non‑medical prescriber or working towards this qualification.
  • Experience of working autonomously under own initiative and ability to respond to rapidly changing service priorities within a primary and acute care setting.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and treatment methods used in this specialist field and adaptability to change and embrace innovation.
  • A car driver is essential.
