A healthcare provider in the United Kingdom seeks a professional to provide specialist practice to children and young people with ADHD and ASD. Responsibilities include supporting care plans, working within a multi-disciplinary team, and offering specialised advice to staff and families. The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise and be able to communicate effectively in workshops. This position emphasizes client-centered care and the promotion of understanding for ADHD/ASD needs within the community.
To provide specialist practice to children and young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) / Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including Autism diagnostic outcome schedule (ADOS), school observations, Qb tests, workshops, supporting prescribers and multi‑disciplinary neurodevelopmental assessment teams. To provide advice to other staff on this area of specialist practice. To work autonomously and as part of a team. To work within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the delivery of effective evidence‑based clinical practice within the specialism.
