Job Description: Functional Assessor

Use your clinical experience to work with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, gaining a clear understanding of how their challenges and disabilities impact their daily life.

Work within an office environment and remotely to complete detailed, meaningful, and respectful assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face interactions.

Interpret medical evidence and compile your findings into comprehensive reports to support decision-making by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

We can only accept applications from qualified Nurses, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, or Occupational Therapists for this vacancy.

Requirements include:

1. Registration with NMC or HCPC.
2. At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience, with UK experience essential.
3. Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and receptiveness to feedback.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to work autonomously and IT competency.

Salary: £39,500 per annum.

This is a permanent position, available full-time or part-time (Monday to Friday), with a mix of remote and assessment center work, promoting an excellent work-life balance.
