A prominent nursing home provider in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a Deputy Home Manager. This role requires a qualified Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills and experience in dementia care. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring care standards, supporting the manager, and engaging with residents and families. Qualifications

  • Qualified Registered Nurse with current active NMC Pin required.
  • Experience in nursing homes and managing care staff preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor standards of care by care staff.
  • Support Manager in implementing policies and procedures.
  • Prepare the staff duty rota for appropriate staffing levels.
  • Monitor resident wellbeing and amend care plans as necessary.
  • Act as main contact for residents, families, and professionals.
  • Assume responsibility for managing the home in Manager's absence.
  • Contribute positively to team working.
  • Advise on supply and quality of goods.
