A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Nurse for a crucial role in their Lung Cancer Screening service. The position involves providing excellent nursing care, conducting assessments, and offering smoking cessation advice. Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience at Band 5 and a clean driving license. This role supports early diagnosis and treatment of lung conditions and includes flexible shift patterns.
This role will be fundamental to the delivery and running of a high quality and effective Lung Cancer service which will identify asymptomatic people, providing early diagnosis of both lung cancer and other lung diseases.
The overall purpose of the Lung Cancer Screening Programme is to enable the early detection of lung cancer to save lives. The Lung Cancer Screening Service has been implemented throughout the UK in areas identified with high disease prevalence where significant impact can be made from the recognition of early-stage lung cancer and offering curative treatment.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + £4,200 Car Allowance

Our nursing teams provide a 7-day service with bank holiday working included across all programmes. Candidates must be adaptable around mobile working and willing to work 12-hour shift patterns as our standard working pattern.
