A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a full-time Band 6 Radiographer or Technologist to join their busy Nuclear Medicine team in Bristol. This role involves performing complex examinations, collaborating with various teams, and providing education to students and staff. Candidates must have a Post-graduate Diploma in Nuclear Medicine and BSc Radiography. The position offers the opportunity to expand expertise in Nuclear Medicine within a supportive environment.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, full time Band 6 radiographer or technologist to join our busy, friendly Nuclear Medicine team at North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT). We provide a comprehensive Nuclear Medicine service to a wide range of specialities within the hospital, including examinations such as melanoma and penile scintigraphy, breast SNL procedures, lung scans, renal studies, cardiac and brain imaging.
Normal working hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday working; however, we are considering the possibility of extended day working. Full time hours would be preferred but part time and flexible working would also be considered. Participation in weekend SeHCAT cover and occasional late shifts may be required pending clinical demand.
This imaging role would be suitable for those that wish to develop their Nuclear Medicine expertise and practical knowledge of the modality. You would become a vital part of our dedicated team, performing a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, from patient preparation to image processing and reconstruction.
Candidates must hold Post-graduate Diploma in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent and a BSc Radiography or equivalent. Radiographers must also have a current Health Professions Council (HCPC) registration and technologists must be willing to submit their application for the Register for Clinical Technologists while in post (if not registered yet).
