A healthcare organization in Aberdeen is seeking a Medical Education Coordinator to manage undergraduate teaching, coordinate schedules, and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will be innovative, have excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. Knowledge of NHS Grampian systems is beneficial. This is a part-time role requiring 30 hours per week, with a salary range of £30,353 - £33,016 pro rata.
Location: Polwarth Building, Foresterhill site, ARI
Hours per week: 30 hours (5 days, flexible start between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.)
Salary: Band 4 £30,353 - £33,016 (pro rata)
The NHS Grampian Medical Education Team comprises a Postgraduate and an Undergraduate Director of Medical Education, 7 Associate Directors of Medical Education (ADME), and Trainee Leads. There is also an Undergraduate Medical Education Quality Manager and Postgraduate Medical Education Quality Manager, as well as administrative staff. The team works under the leadership of the medical directorate whilst the administrative function is part of the workforce directorate.
