The role involves inspecting and monitoring street works in compliance with NRSWA legislation and ensuring safety, quality and reinstatement standards are met. You will work with contractors, utility companies and internal teams to resolve on‑site issues and keep accurate inspection records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and monitor street works in accordance with NRSWA legislation and relevant codes of practice.
  • Ensure works are compliant with safety, quality, and reinstatement standards.
  • Liaise with contractors, utility companies, and internal teams to resolve issues on site.
  • Identify and report non‑compliant works, issuing notices where required.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid NRSWA accreditation (Inspector Units).
  • Proven experience working as an NRSWA Inspector or within street works/highways.
  • Strong knowledge of NRSWA legislation and codes of practice.
  • Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
