Job summary

Sainsbury's in Stafford is seeking an experienced Nightshift Manager to lead a team overnight and ensure replenishment, deliveries and shelf standards are maintained. You’ll manage a full store operation during your shift, prioritise safety and wellbeing, and be hands-on to drive performance.

You will coach colleagues, handle scheduling and performance issues, and work within a supportive, inclusive environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to drive KPI performance and store KPIs.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage employee relations and disciplinary processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight team to deliver replenishment, prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Run full store operation overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are exceptional by morning and ready to serve customers.
• Manage performance, scheduling and pay accuracy, and handle disciplinary matters as needed.
• Lead operations independently when senior managers are absent and promote inclusivity.
