The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a brand-new, state-of-the-art 24-hour small animal hospital in Thurmaston, Leicestershire, which opened in April 2024.

You will work:

  • Saturday, Sunday & Monday nights

The Role

Candidate Requirements
  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

  • Confident working sole charge overnight

  • Strong all-rounder in both medical and surgical cases

  • ECC experience desirable

  • Excellent communication and decision‑making skills

  • Comfortable mentoring and working closely with nursing colleagues

Salary & Benefits
  • Up to £19,687.50 per year (pro rata)

    • Based on an average of 10.5 hours per week

    • Equivalent to £75,000 FTE
