Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nightshift Manager to lead an overnight team at Sainsbury's. You will orchestrate replenishment, warehouse organization, and shelf replenishment, while personally handling core tasks.

You’ll run a full shift in absence of senior managers, maintain safety, and ensure high standards to greet customers in the morning. Night shifts are four nights per week with a £4,500 premium on top of base pay.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership; handled store operations in absence of senior managers.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction).
• Managed employee relations issues including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and warehouse readiness to ensure shelves are stocked on opening.
• Oversee full store operation during night shifts, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Maintain high standards by morning, ensuring readiness for customers.
• Coach and manage performance, scheduling, and payroll accuracy.
