Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a dedicated Nightshift Manager to lead overnight replenishment and oversee store operations, ensuring safety and accuracy of deliveries. You’ll work 22:00–08:00, typically four nights, with a £4,500 premium added to your base salary. You’ll coach colleagues, monitor KPIs and drive a first-class customer experience.

The role requires resilience, strong people management, and a commitment to inclusive, high-performing teams across our stores.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and coach others to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in fast-paced retail operations.
• Strong focus on KPIs like sales, availability, customer satisfaction and colleague engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight replenishment and prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and restock shelves.
• Occasionally run a full store operation overnight, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are maintained to be ready for opening in the morning.
• Manage performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and payroll accuracy.
