Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Manager to lead an overnight team and ensure successful replenishment across the store. You will prioritise deliveries, organise stock and ensure shelves are stocked for opening. The role includes managing performance, attendance and disciplinaries while keeping colleagues safe overnight.

With a 4-night shift pattern and a £4,500 premium on top of base pay, you’ll drive operational excellence and customer readiness for the next day’s service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Experience delivering strong customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience managing performance and attendance, plus discipline where needed.
• Operational leadership, including coverage in absence of senior managers.
• Ability to meet or exceed KPIs across sales, availability and customer metrics.

Responsibilities

• Overnight team leadership to deliver replenishment across the store.
• Prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Run a full store operation overnight and ensure safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure high standards are in place by morning for customers.
