Job summary

Sainsbury’s in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable Nightshift Manager to lead an overnight team across replenishment and store operations, ensuring shelves are stocked and ready for the morning service. You will manage performance, safety, and attendance, with a £4,500 premium on top of base salary for night shifts, and you’ll work four nights per week from late evening to early morning.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Operational leadership with responsibility in absence of senior managers.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs (sales, availability, satisfaction).
• Experience managing employee relations, performance and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and organise warehouse operations.
• Prioritise deliveries and replenish shelves to ready the store by morning.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of team during night shifts.
• Coach and manage performance, conduct disciplinaries if needed.
• Ensure accurate scheduling and pay.
