Qualifications

• Experience in a factory or warehouse environment is useful but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Strip down and clean machinery and conveyor belts.
• Complete relevant paperwork once work is done.
• Report issues to supervisor and managers.
• Handle chemicals while cleaning.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at height.

Come and join us! We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Night Hygiene Machine Minder to join our team in Scunthorpe

• This post is working nights
• The hours of work and shift patterns are 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, you will work the following hours dependent on which day the rota falls on:
  • 21:30-06:00 Monday to Friday
  • 18:00-06:00 Saturday and Sunday
• The rate of pay is: £17.00 per hour

Main Responsibilities

As a Night Hygiene Machine Minder, you will:

• Strip down and clean the machinery and conveyor belts as per the cleaning schedule, reassembling and ensuring the machine is properly working once complete
• Complete the relevant paperwork once the work has been completed
• Report any issues the to your supervisor
• Report to the engineering and hygiene managers any maintenance requirements
• Write issues in the nightly log register
• Handle chemicals whilst cleaning the factory
• Be comfortable to work in confined spaces
• Be comfortable working at height
• Be happy to work in hot and cold environments

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal Night Hygiene Operative will:

• Understand the workings of machinery and conveyor belts
• Be able to work with manual and power tools
• Have good observational skills
• Have a passion for delivering our customer orders whilst making sure our high Health and Safety, Food Safety and Product Quality standards are met
• Be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment
• Enjoy working at pace
• Have the motivation to take action and achieve results

Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
