Job summary

Home Group is seeking a dedicated night worker to keep residents safe, buildings secure, and welcoming. You will support vulnerable customers and those with complex care needs, primarily during night hours and with CCTV and incident response responsibilities.

The role involves three 12.5-hour night shifts weekly (7pm–7:30am), greeting visitors, handling repairs, and coordinating with teams to deter anti-social behaviour. DBS check is required and paid, with strong benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• Night shift experience is preferred.
• Experience in supporting others is desirable.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make clear judgements under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas.
• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning.
• First line of support for customers when others aren’t around.
• Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly.
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour.
