A well-known hotel chain in London is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain cleanliness and support guest satisfaction. This full-time position includes working nights and weekends, and offers competitive pay at £12.21 per hour along with various employee benefits such as free meals, holiday perks, and excellent career progression opportunities.
As a Housekeeping Assistant your mission will be to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across our venue, including colleague areas, bathrooms, event spaces and public areas. You'll also handle occasional guest requests professionally, report maintenance issues promptly, and follow our De Vere lost property procedures. Through the valued work that you do, you'll help to ensure our guests' comfort and satisfaction in turn create memorable experiences for our guests that will leave a lasting impact.
De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms is our Iconic Events venue in London, and as this property does not have any guest bedrooms, the space is solely set up to run and host the most incredible meetings and events. We host movie premieres after parties, high profile fashion, music and charity events, exciting exhibitions and conferences, large weddings and corporate meetings: our impressive event space and extensive meeting facilities means this property is always buzzing and an incredibly fun place to work.
Connaught Rooms is just 5 minutes from Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations and 30 minutes' walk from Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston train stations, and well connected to all major London transport links.
This is a Full time role that involves working between the hours of 10:30 PM and 07:00 AM, including weekends on a rota basis.
