The role involves providing compassionate care to vulnerable adults in their own homes, including night sits. Qualifications

  • Experience of working as a Care Support Worker or equivalent in a Health or Social care setting.
  • Experience of working within a team.
  • Demonstrates an interest or previous experience in supporting other health care staff and learners.
  • Commitment to undertaking continuous professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and treatment overnight to patients to enable them to remain in their home.
  • Complete 4 night sits per week from 22:00 to 07:00.
  • Adhere to the District Nursing Team Lone Worker Policy.

Skills

Good communication (written and verbal skills)
Basic IT skills
Good organisational skills
Ability to travel to different locations

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare
Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D‑G)
