Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group's The Hawthorns in Eastbourne seeks a compassionate Concierge - Bank (Nights) to welcome visitors, answer calls and support residents with high‑quality service from 9 pm to 7 am, Monday to Wednesday.

You will greet guests, operate the switchboard, monitor the bistro area, and handle resident requests efficiently. DBS check will be required; eligibility to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

• Experience handling telephones or in a customer service position.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and be considerate.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and directing all visitors and making them feel welcome.
• Operating the switchboard; handling external and internal calls from residents, passing messages.
• Monitoring the bistro area for refreshments, music, and cleanliness.
• Handling resident requests and queries efficiently and effectively.
