Job summary

Abbatt Group in Barking (IG11) is recruiting two Night Concierges for a modern development of 1,200 units. You will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors and manage inquiries with a professional and solution‑oriented approach.

We require at least 2 years of concierge experience in a residential setting, with exceptional customer service, attention to detail and strong communication skills. The role operates on 4 on 4 off shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years concierge experience in a residential setting.
Professional appearance and manner at all times.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet residents, visitors and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer and log inquiries via telephone, intercom, email and in person.
Receive and log parcels and packages for residents.
Hand over parcels, keys and other logged items to residents with proper ID/written authority.
Register new residents on the concierge database and maintain logs.
Record verbal instructions in writing and file under apartment numbers.
Programme door entry fobs and access details where applicable.
Log and escalate resident complaints to Building Manager as needed.
Assist with arranging access for contractors and conduct end-of-shift audits.
