An excitingopportunity has arisen for the position of Administrator at NHS TalkingTherapies working with an established team.The post holder will be pivotal in ensuring delivery of an excellentfront of house reception/telephone service.

Thepost-holder will assist in ensuring the service experienced is positive andservice user confidentiality is maintained at all times. Treat all visitorsi.e. service users, families/carers, colleagues and all visitors with respect,dignity, courtesy and in accordance with Navigo Values. The post-holder will be responsible formaintaining up to date knowledge on Navigo policies, process and procedures andworking within these at all times.

Please note: The earliest start date for this position is 2nd March 2026

Main duties of the job

The post holder will meet andgreet/liaise on the telephone as the first point of face to face contact forservice users, families and visitors processing referrals, booking appointmentsand liaising with service users throughout the working day.

The main duty of thepost-holder is to deal with telephone enquiries from Service Users sufferingwith mental health illnesses using empathy, understanding, initiative, tact andtenacity where appropriate ensuring accurate information is forwarded appropriatelyin order for appropriate care and follow up to be facilitated ensuringnotification to relevant staff members of any concerns. The postholder will have excellent customerservice skills and administration skills and be confident in all aspects of administrationwork. The postholder will be anexcellent team player and will work in an established team of administrators.

Job responsibilities

  • Excellent communication skills; articulate, legible and meaningful and able to adjust communication style and content to the audience (Experience/Ability to deal with telephone enquiries from other Agencies, Clients and related Mental Health professionals)

Qualifications
