Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an organised NHH Metering Administrator to support the day-to-day delivery of our non-household smart metering programme. You’ll help ensure data accuracy, timely performance, and reliable service for retailers and customers.

You’ll work with the NHH Metering team, contractors, and MOSL interfaces to keep work progressing, resolve issues quickly, and support market reporting and regulatory requirements. This hybrid role is based in Worcester with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an operational or administrative environment.
• Comfortable working in a busy, target-driven environment.
• Experience handling data and working across different systems.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise competing workloads.
• Experience engaging with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing high-volume metering administration across the NHH portfolio.
• Tracking operational performance, including throughput, SLA adherence and backlogs.
• Maintaining accurate and timely operational data to support market reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Working across various systems to support the NHH Metering team and contractors.
• Supporting workflow and backlog management to keep activities moving.
• Monitoring enquiries, queries and escalations and ensuring they are progressed appropriately.
• Liaising with field teams, scheduling teams and contractors to resolve routine issues.
• Responding professionally to retailers and business customers.
• Providing wider ad hoc metering support as required.
