Job Category: Network Specialist

Job Description: CAS Network Engineer

Location: Bracknell

Your role will involve remotely managing a geographically diverse IPS/IDS, SSL decryption, and FPC solution as part of an established team. A large part of the role will be resolving faults escalated by our 2nd line engineers. There is also a requirement to implement service changes to the production environment. Additional responsibilities include providing continuity between an established 3rd Line Team and the 24/7 support team, producing how-to guides, and liaising with other dependent parties.

Required Skills and Experience:
  1. A proven track record as a Network engineer in an operational environment.
  2. A broad range of technical skills across an enterprise environment, ideally including Cisco Firepower configuration, management of F5 devices, and experience configuring multiple traffic flows through a single device.
  3. Self-motivation with the ability to identify improvements for processes and best practices, with a drive for continuous improvement.
  4. Ability to work well within a team and develop positive working relationships with other resolver teams throughout the organization.
  5. Good and clear communication skills when interacting with peers, management, other resolver teams, and customers.
  6. Excellent attention to detail.
