Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking a confident Neighbourhood Response Officer to join our Coventry-based team. The role is resident-facing and requires daily on-site presence with regular estate inspections and collaboration with residents, agencies and teams to keep neighbourhoods safe and well.

You will support residents with tenancy management, ASB investigations, and welfare checks, travel across regions as needed, and work with safeguarding teams, police and health services to promote

Salary: £35,809 to £41,593 per annum Hours: 36 hours per week Location: Hybrid working arrangement - covering Coventry Contract Type: Permanent

We're looking for a confident, customer focused Neighbourhood Response Officer to join our team, covering the Coventry and surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing
  • Working collaboratively with other teams, external agencies and residents to make Clarion Neighbourhoods clean and safe you will deliver regular estate inspections, identifying and reporting issues and making improvements. You will design and deliver neighbourhood projects and activities with individuals, communities and stakeholders to make a real difference.
  • You will also be responsible for supporting residents to manage their tenancies including; sign ups, welfare checks, investigations of ASB and breaches of tenancy.
  • Importantly you will be responsible for working closely with safeguarding teams , social services, mental health teams and the police to support residents health and wellbeing and that of the wider neighbourhood.
  • The role is resident facing and so onsite daily.
  • Extensive travel across the other local regions is required from time to time to cover others and a vehicle to do this will be essential.
What you'll need
  • We're looking for a confident and resilient individual with a positive mind set. With sound experience in customer service, you'll enjoy working with people in the community. You'll be able to develop effective working relationships across Clarion and external agencies, within and across the team also be confident working alone. You'll have experience of working to policies, procedures, plans and targets and can exercise good judgement whilst being proactive and creative in finding solutions. You will have experience with IT systems and processes and be able to grow knowledge and experience of using new ones.
