Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is recruiting a Community Warden in Norwich on a permanent basis. The role covers local areas, providing a responsive service to tenants and maintaining estates to a high standard.

You will support the Neighbourhood Teams, respond to urgent situations and report repair needs. The post requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience of customer service in a Housing environment and excellent communication skills.

• Good IT skills and proficiency with common software.
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide a local responsive service to tenants; estates to be kept clean and well maintained.
• Support Estates, Repairs and Neighbourhood Teams; respond to urgent situations and report repairs.
• Carry out regular inspections; liaise with contractors, residents and teams.

We are recruiting for a Community Warden to join our team in Norwich on a permanent basis supporting Estates, Repairs and the Neighbourhood team.

You’ll be providing a local responsive service to tenants ensuring estates are free from litter, graffiti and are well kept. You’ll be supporting the Neighbourhood Teams ensuring new tenants are settled in, tenancy conditions are met, responding to urgent situations and reporting on repair needs. You’ll carry out thorough regular inspections and liaise with estate contractors, residents and teams ensuring that estates and communal areas are maintained to the highest standard.

We’re looking for someone with experience of customer service in a Housing environment who has excellent communication skills and the ability to plan their own workload. You’ll have the proven ability to engage with service users and experience in negotiation and resolving conflict along with good IT skills and you must hold a full UK Drivers License.

You’ll need to have a positive approach, good problem solving skills and be able to work on your own initiative putting our residents at the heart of our service delivery.
