Job description

An opportunity for an experienced nature conservation warden and gardener on an exceptional Chilterns estate comprising around 27 acres of chalk grassland meadows, 5 acres of woodland, 2 acres of orchards and 1 acre of gardens.

This is an opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual, who will have an assistant and be responsible for supervising contractors. The nature conservation and gardensmanagerwill report directly to the property owner and willimplement the conservation management plan as well as development and maintenance of the gardens to an exacting standard. A salary of £35,000 or more will be offered depending on experience and qualifications.

Proven hands-on experience as well as sound knowledge of garden machinery and a chainsaw licence are essential, training being offered if required. Applicants must be physically fit, active, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
