Job description

A warm and welcoming family based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Full-time Live-in or Live-out Nanny to provide dedicated care for their five children. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of childcare experience, with qualifications such as a Norland nanny highly desirable. The role requires a confident, proactive, and nurturing individual who can keep the children engaged, manage school routines, and support their development. A driver’s licence (automatic) is required, and the family occasionally travels worldwide for 1–2 weeks per year. A valid first-aid qualification is a must.

Working Hours

Live-in: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (48 hours per week)

Live-out: 4 days per week, 48–60 hours per week

Large private bedroom upstairs with air conditioning, shared bathroom with housekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Providing attentive care for all five children, keeping them active and engaged
• Managing school drop-offs and pick-ups
• Supporting homework and essay assignments for school-aged children
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children
• Performing light housekeeping duties related to the children, including laundry, wardrobe organisation, and tidying
• Ensuring daily routines and schedules are followed to support the children’s development
• Accompanying the family on occasional travel (1–2 weeks per year)
• Maintaining safety and well-being, including supervising swimming

The family is looking to welcome a qualified and experienced nanny who can start on the 6th January 2026.
