Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons for Nursery to Year 6.
  • Conduct singing assemblies and manage choirs, lunchtime and after school clubs.

Skills

Excellent command of spoken and written English
Capability to conduct whole-class music lessons
Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use

  • Weekly teaching, full school day - 8.45am-3.30/4.30pm, term time
  • Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s
  • Teaching from 1 to 5 days per week
  • Singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons - Nursery to Year 6 following Sing Education teaching resources
  • Singing assemblies
  • Choirs, lunchtime and after school clubs
Qualifications
  • University graduate with a degree in music or a related field

Compensation
  • Full-time Salary PA: £22,379 - £29,288 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale.
  • Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting. Initial pay is dependent on classroom music experience and weekly hours + pension.
  • 7 - 40 hours per week - 38 weeks per year + paid training.
  • No PGCE or QTS required.
