We’re seeking a motivated and learner‑focused Lecturer to join our college team. You’ll teach across a range of programmes, delivering knowledge, building skills, and creating inclusive learning experiences. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact.
The Performance Academy at Newcastle College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Music Lecturer to join our team on a 0.6 FTE basis. The successful candidate will primarily specialise in piano/keys, though applications from musicians with other instrumental specialisms will also be considered. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and industry‑relevant teaching to learners across a range of music performance and production courses, recording studio environments, and will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
Experience teaching in further or higher education, knowledge of live sound and music production, experience working with diverse learner groups, and professional industry experience as a performing musician or producer would be advantageous.
