Multiskilled Tradesman

Location : Norwich & surrounding areas

Salary : Competitive Salary / rates available

Transport : Company Van Option Available (or preference for own Van)

A new opportunity has become available for a Multiskilled Tradesman to assist us with our on-going business and upcoming projects.

The successful candidate will have skills in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating, roofing repairs, plastering, carpets & flooring and kitchen & bathroom fitting, including tiling.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of general maintenance, responsive repairs, void works & property refurbishment work.

Candidates will be required to work in an efficient way, working to deadlines and to a very high standard.

Own tools required but can be provided for specialist work.

A uniform will be provided.

Responsibilities – Multiskilled Tradesman :

• Multi trade interior and exterior work
• Decorating
• Repair and maintenance of windows and doors
• Plastering work
• Plumbing works
• Easing of doors – removing, planning and re-hanging
• Gardening works
• General maintenance work
• Minor building works / repairs
• Small carpentry jobs
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment

Essential Requirements :

• Must hold a driving licence
• Relevant trade qualifications, NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent in your chosen trade
• Proven experience of domestic property maintenance
• Own tools
• Insurance (if Self-Employed)

Desirable Requirements (but not essential) :

• Carpentry experience
• Locksmith experience
• Electrical experience
• Gas safe registered
• Asbestos Awaremeness Certified
• Proven experience of working in tenanted properties
