Responsibilities

  • Undertake triage, investigation and diagnosis of electronic/electro-mechanical products.
  • Use basic test instruments and bespoke test equipment safely.
  • Report accurately and timely using appropriate processes.
  • Follow Quality Instruction Sheets for product adjustments.
  • Inspect products visually for fitness for purpose.
  • Resolve Service Requests in line with customer SLAs.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting and communication.
  • Keep work area clean and adhere to H&S requirements.

Multiskilled Technician – Filton

Abatec are currently recruiting a Multiskilled Technician for our client in Filton. The correct person will be an integral part of a team of multi-skilled technicians, responsible for ensuring all technical aspects of day-to-day business within the Operations Team are completed efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner, by following job allocation directions and appropriate processes as required by the management team.

  • Undertake triage, investigation and diagnosis of electronic/electro-mechanical products to agreed specifications.
  • Accurate use of basic test instruments and bespoke test equipment, following safe working practices to facilitate investigation and diagnosis.
  • Accurate and timely reporting using the appropriate process and software.
  • Diligently follow the requirements of Quality Instruction Sheets (QIS) to make appropriate adjustments to products as required.
  • Be responsible for the visual inspection of products to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Resolution of Service Requests (SR) and supporting documentation in a timely manner, in line with customer Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Accurate use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, for completion of reporting and communications.
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean and tidy, adhering to all H&S requirements, ISO standards, regulations and other working practises.
  • Represent the Company in an appropriate manner when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Any other task commensurate with this role.
