Job summary

A manufacturing recruitment agency is seeking a Maintenance Engineer responsible for routine, reactive, and planned maintenance within a manufacturing plant. This role involves both electrical and mechanical maintenance of production machinery to ensure smooth operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment, strong problem-solving skills, and relevant qualifications. Working hours are Monday to Friday across rotating shifts, with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment required.
• Mechanically biased, multi-skilled engineer preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine, planned, and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks across plant.
