Overview

Golding Homes is recruiting a Multi Trader with Carpentry as a primary trade to join our Repairs team. This permanent, full-time role is based in Maidstone, Kent, with travel to properties in Maidstone and surrounding areas. Salary circa £35,700; 40-hour week; option to join out of hours emergency rota paid at out-of-hours rate.

What you'll do

As a Multi-Trade Operative you will be responsible for ensuring our current properties remain at a high standard, providing customers with great quality homes. You'll work with other skilled operatives to complete repairs on time and to standard.

  • Highly motivated, customer-oriented people from all walks of life to provide the best service and value for money.
  • A qualification in a primary trade (Carpentry) is desirable.
  • Experience gained working in Social Housing is required.
  • Good IT skills and experience of working with a PDA are required.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements (working at heights, asbestos awareness, manual handling and COSHH); further training will be provided.
