Hours: 43 hours per week, working 1 in 4 weekends and on call 1 in 4 weekends
Location: Mobile across Tyne & Wear with base in NE1

What you'll be doing
  • Work on a large range of industrial boilers, combustion equipment and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engines
  • Planned preventive maintenance and repair of multi-utility plant sites, including multi-fuel boilers and associated burner systems, steam systems, MTHW systems, LTHW heating systems, control systems, pumps, motors, electrical infrastructure, oil systems, fault diagnosis, repair and some minor installation works
  • Training will be provided for a qualified tradesperson with the aptitude to retrain in this industry. Chosen applicants must be willing to multi-skill as necessary
What we're looking for
  • You will have proven electrical fault finding skills and electrical qualifications - you must hold HNC electrical engineering or ONC electrical engineering qualification
  • A full drivers licence
  • Previous 415V 3 phase experience is essential
  • High Voltage experience would be an advantage and is desirable
  • Combined Heat & Power experience would be advantageous, as would COSHH awareness and IOSH core
  • Steam boiler plant experience would be beneficial
