Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing

Location: Bridlington, East Yorkshire
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Shifts: 3‑shift system (6am‑2pm / 2pm‑10pm / 10pm‑6am) | Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing site in Bridlington. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on engineer to work in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install production machinery including conveyors, packaging machines, and process equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance plant performance.
  • Work safely in line with company and industry Health & Safety standards.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
  • Multi‑skilled in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly across 3‑shift patterns.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
