Overview

The Multi Skilled Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This permanent position in Manchester involves working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, combining both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair faults to ensure operational efficiency is maintained.
• Working on equipment such as; Conveyors, fillers, bottling lines, packaging machines, blow moulding machines, AC/DC drives, motors, PLC's, wiring and more.
• Collaborate with the production team to address engineering challenges promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks.
• Provide technical support to improve production processes and equipment reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
• Support the implementation of new machinery and technologies.

• A successful Multi Skilled Engineer should have:
