Sydney Mitchell LLP IT is seeking an IT support engineer to join a small team servicing approximately 90 users across 4 sites. Based at Shirley, Solihull, with occasional visits to other offices.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, support the IT network manager, and work with a bespoke case management system to develop user-friendly solutions and training materials. The role involves developing client-facing solutions and contributing to system integration projects.

Qualificações

• Strong inter-personal skills.
• Formal IT qualifications or demonstrable experience/training within an IT department.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting users on a range of software and hardware issues.
• Supporting the IT network manager.
• Working with the IT database administrator to enhance the use of the systems and the user experience.
• Training new and existing users and developing training materials.
• Programming and scripting using software developed externally by a bespoke software house offering integrated case management and accounts solutions for solicitors.
• Developing applications.
• Evaluating and implementing projects to integrate other third party software with the existing systems.
• Developing client facing solutions as the need arises.
