Job summary

TavasTechs is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a proactive technology team. The role covers 1st/2nd line support for 600+ users across several sites, mainly on-site at Leicester and Rugby. Some home-working flexibility is available when required.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and telephony issues, administer user accounts, and support new system deployments. A UK driving licence and car are mandatory due to multi-site duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT Support or Service Desk environment.
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and common business applications.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across several sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving hardware, software, networks, and telephony.
• Support system administration tasks including user setup, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Assist with testing and deploying new systems, hardware, and updates.
• Work closely with third-party support partners where required.
• Uphold IT security standards and participate in business continuity activities.
• Maintain documentation and asset records for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff at all levels.
• Participate in occasional out-of-hours support on a rota basis.
