Job description

Physiotherapist for Friendly Private Practice (flexible start date)

Full (or part) time. New graduates may be considered. You need to have the right to work in the UK as this is not a sponsored position.

We are looking for a part or full-time MSK/outpatient physio to join our team to develop and provide physio services to more patients in our community. You must be someone who puts people skills ahead of clinical skills, be a true team player, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

If you LOVE working hands-on with patients, want to broaden your experience and skills, learn lots, be part of a team that appreciates and supports each other, and enjoys hard work, then we need to talk…

Based in Kent, this is a real opportunity for someone who:

  • LOVES working in a smaller and more friendly setting than a “big box” physiotherapy clinic
  • Wants to work hands-on with patients and not just dish out exercises
  • Wants to work in a fast-paced, NO-DRAMA environment where office politics and negativity are NOT tolerated.
  • Wants to work at a practice where they can LEARN about many aspects of physiotherapy and develop their hands-on, team, and communication skills
  • Is extremely detail-oriented and appreciates people who take an organised, systematic approach to achieving success.
  • Likes the idea of working for a smaller company where their ideas and contributions directly impact the company’s success, direction, and growth.
  • Is a quick, self-motivated learner who wants to work for a company that will invest in their education.
  • Wants a position that will offer upward earning and career advancement; we want people who are interested in growth, learning, and becoming part of our team long-term.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Do everything possible to get the best outcome for every patient
  • Ensure that patients achieve their clinical/health/lifestyle outcomes (in the time frame you set)
  • Develop a life-long relationship with patients that benefits both the patient and the clinic
  • Confidently communicate the value of our service and your skills
  • Increase referrals by providing a high level of customer care and service to all patients
  • Ensure that patients understand and complete their agreed treatment plan that you prescribe
  • Ensure that clinical notes, letters, and reports are kept up to date and accurate
  • Participate in, contribute to, and help to develop the in-house educational training programme that is provided to all physiotherapists
  • Assist in the production of classes, groups, in-clinic workshops, trade shows, and other publicity events.
  • Be on hand to participate in and contribute to the clinic's social media activity
  • Be happy and willing to speak to and call patients regularly to help them

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Established physiotherapy skills (including MSK and ideally electrotherapy) that will be developed continuously. Must have a BSc in Physio, be HCPC and CSP registered, and able to work in the UK as sponsorship is not provided.
  • Great communication skills that will be developed continuously
  • Car driver
  • To be able to communicate in such a way that a patient can feel confident in you and feels comfortable agreeing to a comprehensive plan of treatment that you prescribe
  • Accountable – you’re happy to be held accountable and willing to be coached to improve every aspect of your role
  • To be able to engage with and connect with patients at the people level (not just the clinical)
  • Ability to thrive in an environment where measurement is the driving force behind progress
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under deadlines and on schedule so that work is completed on time.

BENEFITS:

  • Competitive salary depending upon previous experience/success
  • Flexible work hours and days. We can work around YOU
  • Regular training and self-development programme
  • Excellent full-time administrative/reception support
  • Employee Assistance/wellness Programme
  • Paid holiday
  • Paid mileage allowance
  • Company pension

Please ONLY apply if you are willing and eager to learn – A LOT. We are a private clinic offering optimum care to clients, not a quick fix. This is NOT like working in the NHS.
