A recruitment agency is seeking an MRP Coordinator for a growing SME manufacturing business in Thame, Oxfordshire. The role involves coordinating the supply chain process, ensuring accuracy from order placement to shipment, and managing MRP/ERP systems. MRP Coordinator. OX9, Thame, Oxfordshire. £30,000 - £35,000
Overview
  • Operations Coordinator, Operations Support, MRP Coordinator, Materials Planner Operations Assistant, Production Planner, Production Assistant or similar.
  • Excellent opportunity to work within a growing SME manufacturing business who supply into a number of highly regulated industries (Aerospace / Defence / Automotive), bespoke project work internationally – so there is a wide range of materials and a strong emphasis on supply chain management.
  • Working closely with the production & manufacturing teams, ensuring high levels accuracy. Responsible for the process of order acknowledgement through to shipment.
  • Strong emphasis on MRP / ERP system, assessing Bills of Materials and Work Orders.
  • Role will be based on site near Thame in Oxfordshire.
  • Excellent starting salary (£30,000-£35,000 as a very rough estimate but this is still to be defined) + wider company benefits.
This MRP Coordinator job will suit
  • An Operations Coordinator, MRP Coordinator, Production coordinator, Material Planner, Material Scheduler, Procurement Assistant or a professional with a background in Supply chain or Production support. Ideally exposure of working within an SME manufacturing business.
  • They have highlighted Production Planning as a key strategic area for the business as it grows, hence the recruitment for this new role. They have already implemented a new MRP system and have established processes in place, they just need a dedicated professional who can work as part of a small team to ensure the accuracy of the system.
  • Someone with exposure and understanding of using and working with MRP / ERP systems, Bills of Material, raising purchase orders and stock / inventory control.
  • Able to support the process from when an order is placed, right until the order is shipped to a customer.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills – you will be the link between a number of different departments within the business (production, sales, supply chain), so the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with multiple stakeholders will be crucial.
