I have a good sense of humour and need a PA to support me to go out in the community and to maybe sit in from time to time and help around the house, I have Cognitive impairment and aphasia as a result of Stroke which impairs language skills and my memory at times and has also affected my eye site.
My mobility is slow but can manage to walk short distances.
I am capable of doing things myself but would like some support to organise a safe space at home, removing hazards and supporting daily living together e.g. laundry and recycling.
PURPOSE OF JOB To assist me out in the community and to appointments from time to time if my family are unable to take me.
At Home to maintain my safety.
HOURS OF WORK 6 hours per week, afternoons preferable.
RATES OF PAY £14.00 per hour.
Mileage TASKS INVOLVED

ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance.
The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check
The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
