Job summary

A leading precast manufacturer is seeking a Skilled Production Operative in Nottinghamshire to join their growing team. The role involves joinery and mould fitting, offering training and a supportive production environment. Qualifications

• Experience in joinery or mould fitting preferred.
• Ability to read and work confidently from drawings.
• Experience in precast or construction is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture timber moulds using machinery from detailed technical drawings.
• Assemble moulds with precision on the casting area.
• Assist with prepping moulds and general housekeeping.

What You'll Do:

• Joinery: Manufacture timber moulds in the woodshop using machinery (training provided), working from detailed technical drawings.

• Mould Fitting: Assemble moulds on the casting area with precision - tolerances are tight, so attention to detail is key.

• Production Support: Assist with prepping moulds, placing cast-in items, pouring/screeding concrete, finishing units, and general housekeeping.

What We're Looking For:

• Skilled in joinery,or mould fitting (preferred)

• Able to read and work confidently from drawings

• Physically fit and used to fast-paced environments

• Experience in precast or construction is an advantage

• Must attend Monday site walk-rounds
