A public sector organization is seeking a Motor Mechanics Tutor based at HMP Highpoint. This fixed-term role involves working with small groups of prison-based learners, helping them develop essential skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate should have substantial vocational experience and the ability to effectively engage learners using diverse training methods. Based on‑site at HMP Highpoint you will be working with small groups of prison‑based learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long‑term goals and aspirations.
Our Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that the advice and guidance is given when required while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality courses that engage with the learners and help them to reach their potential. This is a fixed term position for 6 months.
If you don't currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, they are able to support you through the appropriate qualifications and assessments, as part of your probationary period.
