Your Day‑to‑Day (No Emissions Test Required)

You’ll be carrying out around 10 MOTs a day on mostly newer vehicles, using a proper MOT ramp (none of those questionable pits). Average test time? 30–40 minutes — just enough to keep the day moving without needing a pit stop every five minutes.

Your Pass Criteria

• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points – nobody wants a tester who keeps failing their own retest)
• 2–3 years MOT testing experience
• Ideally 5 years+ in the trade
• Nice to have: A bit of mechanical know‑how for minor tweaks and general workshop support.
