A leading health service provider is looking for a Modern Apprentice - Finance Assistant to join their team at Dykebar Hospital in Paisley. This role includes assisting in finance operations, learning to create financial reports, and engaging in various accounting responsibilities while pursuing an AAT SCQF Level 6 diploma. Ideal candidates will have a Higher qualification in Maths and National 5s in English and other subjects. Starting salary is competitive and the apprenticeship lasts for 18 months.
On successful completion of the programme, you will be supported into permanent employment at the entry point of a Band 3 starting salary scale.
The Corporate Finance department is seeking a dynamic young person to join their team. The successful candidate will be bursting with enthusiasm and ready to learn how to become a Finance Assistant. As a Finance Assistant you will join the Management Accounts Team based at Dykebar Hospital, Paisley. Management Accounts is a board‑wide function responsible for the provision of financial information and advice to managers to support budgetary control and decision making.
This is a busy and fast‑paced role, particularly around month‑end deadlines. The majority of time is spent using a PC inputting and analysing figures.
During your apprenticeship you will be working to attain an AAT SCQF Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
