  • Act as a technical expert for Rent‑a‑Car systems, translating complex technical and business issues into clear, actionable solutions for all audiences.
  • Provide second‑level application support, manage queries, bugs and change requests, and document user stories in Jira while understanding deployment processes.
  • Serve as a key contact for high‑severity incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and escalating where necessary to the Mobility Quality and Change Manager.
  • Validate that changes are correctly deployed to production, communicate updates to stakeholders, and support new system developments and annual process reviews.
  • Partner with third‑party suppliers to manage day‑to‑day queries and priorities, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Recommend and implement system improvements to optimise processes, standardise workflows, and reduce complexity.
  • Collaborate on new development initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and commercial priorities.
  • Provide weekly progress updates on technical development, support system testing, and assist with test scenario identification.
Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience with systems, integrations, and change delivery.
  • Background in triage or first/second/third‑line support.
  • Understanding of integration technologies (e.g., APIs) and agile tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Experience managing third‑party suppliers.
  • Excellent team player with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity with attention to detail and adapt quickly to change.
  • Confident in data analysis and making technical recommendations.
  • Clear communicator, able to explain complex technical requirements simply.
