Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician within its SMR division. Work is delivered on a planned schedule across the Warrington cluster, servicing members and performing diagnostics and repairs with a fully equipped RAC van.

You’ll operate on a 40-hour week (Mon–Sat, with one-in-four Saturdays) with a base salary of £40,170 and on-target earnings up to £52,000, plus overtime and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or 5+ years’ experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and diagnostics on mobile units.
• Pre-booked jobs with time, tools and support provided.
• Deliver high-quality repairs and proactive member advice.
