Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR Division. You will work on pre-booked, scheduled maintenance and diagnostics, delivering quality repairs in customers’ driveways or workplaces, with a fully equipped RAC van and tools.

The role emphasizes planned work, not reactive callouts, in the Warrington cluster area across listed towns. You’ll utilise your technical skills from day one, with a base salary of £40,170 and potential earnings up to £52,000 via bonuses and overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or 5+ years’ experience.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned vehicle diagnostics and servicing on pre-booked appointments.
• Conduct in-depth repairs in a mobile environment.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
