Job summary

RAC is expanding its SMR division with a Mobile Vehicle Technician role across the Liverpool cluster and surrounding areas. You will perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and repairs at customers' driveways and car parks, ensuring high-quality outcomes while following the pre-booked schedule.

The role offers a base salary of £40,170 with OT opportunities to reach up to £52,000, 40-hour weeks, and a structured, independent mobile work environment designed for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations after inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
